Retirement Letter

Retirement of Dr. Gary Alberts

It is with a mix of emotions that I am writing to officially announce my retirement from private practice as a general dentist.

After 40 years of dedicated service in the field of dentistry, this decision did not come lightly. The countless moments spent caring for patients, building relationships, and contributing to the overall well being of our community have been incredibly rewarding. However, the time has come for me to embark on a new chapter in my life. While I may be stepping away from the day-to-day responsibilities of private practice, I am not bidding farewell to the relationships I have built. I look forward to staying connected with the dental community and contributing in different capacities. I will provide dental treatment for recruits and veterans at Great Lakes Naval Base.

I am immensely grateful for the opportunities and experiences that my career in dentistry has provided me. The relationships I have formed with colleagues, staff, and, most importantly, the patients, have been a source of inspiration and joy. The trust and confidence you have all placed in me over the years have been truly humbling.

As I retire, I reflect on the advancements in dental care and the positive impact we have had on the oral health of our community. I am confident that you will find Dr. Bakman to be a wonderful dentist, and I encourage you to extend a warm welcome as she embarks on this new chapter.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this incredible journey. Your support, collaboration, and friendship have been invaluable, and I will carry these cherished memories with me into retirement.

With warm regards, Gary Alberts DDS
